Currently suspended due to COVID-19, however, we are looking forward to welcoming you back as soon as we are able to do so.
The Saturday S.O.B Club was started as a means of providing support to people suffering from lung disease or other conditions resulting in breathlessness – those suffering from breathlessness & those caring for them.
The Group has been running in its current form for 3 years.
We meet every first Saturday of the month from March to November
Church hall at Wrafton from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
The aims of the club are:
- To help provide support for each other.
- To ease the isolation that many sufferers experience.
- To have fun!
- Gentle exercise sessions (optional) are provided – exercise is a key part of managing breathlessness and it makes a change to do this in company! (The laughter muscles get well exercised!)
All manner of problems are discussed from daily living to our drugs and possible side effects, mobility problems & benefits.
This club is here for its members so you can suggest any topic that you would like to be discussed.
Finally, please become a member, relax and enjoy each Saturday afternoon with others that have similar problems and understand your needs.
